New Accu-Chek Aviva System: Easy-To Use Blood Glucose Monitor That Thinks For Itself |

Roche Diagnostics have launched the Accu-Chek Aviva, an easy to use blood glucose monitoring system technologically advanced enough to 'think' for itself, producing accurate results and allowing people with diabetes to focus on living their lives the way they want.
Accu-Chek Aviva is a small, easy to use meter with a short test time, large visual display and comfort grips for easy handling. It instantly senses and auto-corrects for a wide range of conditions which can influence a result. The small, innovative system which only needs a tiny drop of blood (0.6µl) provides accurate results within 5 seconds. The test strip is wide for easy handling and can quickly and easily absorb the blood sample. Accu-Chek Aviva comes with a unique Multiclix lancing device for virtually pain free testing, as well as automatic test reminders, a re-dosing option and the ability to instantly sense and auto-correct throughout the short, 5 second test time.

For added safety and convenience, the Multiclix lancing device contains 6 lancets within a drum that do not need to be handled and can be disposed of in household waste. Testing can therefore be carried out quickly, discreetly and is virtually pain free.
The Accu-Chek Aviva system features intuitive button design, a large, easy-to-read screen and key features of traditional blood glucose meters to ensure that users can adapt to the new system seamlessly.
