Important Update: Return to single testing for all CoaguChek PT test strip customers
Further to the previous advice on the potential for erroneous INR results with CoaguChek PT Strips used with CoaguChek and CoaguChek S meters, Roche Diagnostics can confirm that it has undertaken significant corrective improvements in the manufacturing process and has now implemented measures to identify and discard strips with insufficient thromboplastin.
Roche Diagnostics is therefore pleased to advise customers and healthcare professionals that repeat testing is no longer required with CoaguChek PT test strips with lot number 429A and higher.
If you still have strips with lot numbers lower than 429A, or are uncertain about the lot numbers of test strips in your possession, please contact the CoaguChek Careline on 0808 100 7666. (Monday to Friday 9 - 6pm).
